An Irrational Hatred of Luton
Luton back in the Championship with a bunch of players Allardyce tried hard to destroy their careers to make a point and a load of other ex hammers:

Marek Shrek
Danny Potts
Pelly Ruddock
George Moncur
Elliot Lee

They even have James Collins up top.

Hatched buried? Time to have a soft spot for these boys in the championship? Will any of them come home?

Re: An Irrational Hatred of Luton
I had that hatred of them. Completely forgot about it till now though. With that many ex Hammers I wish them well.

Also, Potts is a much better player than that level. Much better.

For that reason alone I like Luton, (loved his Luton signs he used in their skits) but Luton airport is the pits.

Add JORDI Spence to that team and you'd have the team Alex V would put out for us this weekend if he could.

Don't mind Luton, just goes to show how you can assemble a squad with players deemed not good enough for the top levels and have success.

Fair play to em

But do they have defenders good enough to cope with Jordan Hugill ?

I mean the place is an absolute shit hole, but generally I always thought it was that fucking shitty plastic pitch that was the only thing that pissed people off, due to the unfair advantage it gave them.

Never understood why the book was an IRRATIONAL hatred.
Entirely rational

When you say Allardyce ‘making a point’ according to a thread on here (and the betting patterns) it was more about making some money for his associates by tipping the wink on the team he was putting out

"but Luton airport is the pits."

If you can see past the appalling aesthetics, its one of the best airports in the uk to fly in and out of, mainly because it is not a labyrnthine shopping mall with a runway attached to it and they tend to have security and immigration staff in position for landings and take offs, a novel concept at Stansted, where as soon as more than two planes land, everybody seems to go on a break.

Re: An Irrational Hatred of Luton
To be fair all those players are probably playing above their level in the Championship.

I don't like Luton either.

Have a day off, Luton airport is grim. Proper zoo that place is.

5.owned by a tory mp who promoted forcing clubs into adopting a membership scheme and ban away fans

6.Steve lobotomy Foster

7. Mick elbows Harford

Luton LONDON Airport annoys me.

Unlike West Ham United LONDON, which is bad enough, it is nowhere near LONDON.

(I once had to pick up a visitor who was fooled by this when booking her flight to LONDON)
